Privacy Policy

1. Overview

PaystubKit is operated by TrackAIMentions and is designed with data minimization in mind. We process the information you enter to calculate taxes, generate previews, process payment fulfillment, and create paid PDF downloads. We do not sell personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it.

2. Information You Enter

PaystubKit may process business name, business address, optional EIN, worker name, tax state, filing status, pay frequency, pay-period dates, income amounts, year-to-date amounts, and related document settings that you enter into the form.

PaystubKit does not collect Social Security Numbers in the MVP. Generated PDFs display Not collectedby default.

3. How We Use Information

We use information you provide to:

  • calculate supported tax lines and document totals;
  • generate previews and paid PDF downloads;
  • confirm payment fulfillment through Paddle;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and repeated unauthorized generation attempts;
  • respond to support, refund, privacy, or legal requests.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payment methods, tax collection where applicable, invoices, receipts, and buyer support related to payment processing.

PaystubKit does not receive or store full credit card numbers. Paddle may process payment and billing information under Paddle's own terms and privacy practices.

5. Storage and Retention

We do not operate user accounts in the MVP. Form data is processed during the request lifecycle to calculate and generate documents. Paid PDFs are temporarily stored to provide a download link and are intended to expire after 24 hours.

Our fulfillment records are limited to non-document fields such as Paddle transaction ID, document ID, generation status, PDF hash, mode, state, timestamps, and expiry time. These records are used for fulfillment, fraud prevention, and payment dispute evidence.

Browser storage may remember convenience settings so you do not have to re-enter them. Do not use PaystubKit on a shared device unless you are comfortable with browser storage on that device.

6. Analytics and Logs

We may use privacy-conscious analytics and server logs to understand traffic, diagnose errors, and protect the service. Analytics and logs must not intentionally capture SSNs, full card details, or generated PDF contents.

7. Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate PaystubKit, process payments, host infrastructure, provide support, comply with law, or prevent abuse. Service providers may include Paddle, Vercel, domain and email providers, analytics providers, and security tools.

We may disclose limited records if required by a valid legal request or if necessary to investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents.

8. Your Choices

You may request help with privacy questions, support history, or deletion of records we can reasonably associate with your request. Because PaystubKit does not create user accounts in the MVP, we may need transaction IDs or support context to locate records.
